This handcrafted Bidriware Charminar plate captures the essence of Hyderabad’s most famous monument in clean silver lines against a deep black background. The circular plate, crafted in a zinc–copper alloy and finished with traditional Bidri oxidation, rests on a simple wooden stand that frames the artwork without distracting from it.

Artisans from Bidar meticulously engrave and inlay the Charminar’s minarets, arches and balconies using pure silver, then darken the base metal with soil from Bidar Fort to achieve the dramatic black‑and‑silver contrast that defines Bidriware. Perfect as a Hyderabad souvenir, corporate memento or living‑room focal piece, this plate brings together architecture, history and metal artistry in a compact statement décor object.

Product Details
Craft form: Authentic Bidriware metal handicraft from Bidar, Karnataka, India, depicting the Charminar of Hyderabad.

Material: Zinc–copper alloy base with pure silver wire or sheet inlay used to render the architectural details of the monument.

Design: Round black plate with a finely etched and inlaid Charminar motif at the centre, presented with a complementary wooden stand for tabletop display.

Finish: Smooth matte or satin black oxidised surface that contrasts sharply with the bright silver lines of the design.

Utility: Ideal as a desk or shelf accent, souvenir, corporate gift or cultural collectible; can also be adapted for wall display with appropriate hardware.

Crafting process: Cast and finished by hand, then the Charminar outline is engraved and inlaid with silver before the piece is oxidised using special Bidar Fort soil that permanently turns the alloy black while the silver remains untarnished.

Heritage value: Combines two heritage icons—Bidri metal inlay craft (a GI‑tagged art from Bidar) and the Charminar, symbol of Hyderabad’s architectural legacy.

Care instructions: Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth; avoid moisture, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Periodic light oiling and buffing can revive the black sheen without dulling the silver inlay.
